If you rely on your camera to make temperature measurements or find problems related to thermal anomalies, it’s important to have the proper maintenance on the camera. Without proper maintenance, the camera could yield false readings.
The FLIR Service Division is your factory certified source for annual service and repair for all FLIR brand infrared cameras. We are ISO9001:2008 certified and firmly support an international set of standards for quality and continuous improvement.
14 Point Inspection & Calibration Program
FLIR´s exclusive 14 Point Inspection & Calibration program uses temperature references that are calibrated annually and traceable to the National Institute of Standards of Testing. The program includes the following steps:

Perform a complete operational check |

Fusion calibration and laser alignment, when applicable |

Verify all internal cable and PCB connections |
4 |
Clean viewfinder and check optics |
5 |
Upgrade internal camera software to latest revisions |

Perform minor repairs |

Verify and/or re-equalize as needed each temperature range for image uniformity |
8 |
Verify standard lens calibration (others or special engineered lenses, optional) |
9 |
Verify ambient temperature compensation as needed |
10 |
Re-calibration to ensure it meets factory specification |
11 |
Calibrate temperature ranges up to +1,500°C, when applicable |
12 |
Perform quality approved acceptance test procedure |
13 |
Provide calibration label with next due date |
14 |
Provide calibration certificate (optional, extended calibration certificate with measured values) |
