Carthage Advanced video processing modules for high-end integrators and applications The Carthage series imaging modules are dedicated to system integrators that want to develop their own thermal imaging application. The Carthage imaging modules are extremely robust and compact. They provide crisp, live images for a wide variety of applications including small airborne gimbals, thermal cameras and multi-sensor systems, instrumentation, handheld night vision systems and many other thermal imaging applications.
Carthage ACL Imaging Modules
The new Carthage
ACL electronic imaging modules provide integrators with a turn key
solution to transform an Infrared Focal Plane Array (IRFPA) into a
powerful thermal imaging system, capable of delivering processed and
high quality image stream for a wide variety of scenarios. The module is
offered either stand alone or pre-integrated with a compatible detector
assembly and with the imaging lens assembly. Along with standard
Command & Control Software, a powerful real-time grabbing and
processing software (Windows ®) can be offered for extensive and
customized module characterization and tests via the digital video
output. Carthage ACL takes a “U” shape which perfectly matches around
most integrated cooled detector assemblies to give an optimized
footprint of the thermal imager. It is comprised of a digitalization
board, a processing board and a power supply board.
Carthage DCL, Advanced Core Engine for Digital IRFPAs
The Carthage DCL
is an advanced video processing module specifically developed for
size-limited thermal imagers, such as small airborne gimbals or handheld
IR binocular systems. It primarily addresses new state-of-the-art
digital IRFPAs, and is also adapted to other standard cooled sensors.
The Carthage DCL includes standard IR processing such as Non Uniformity
Correction and Bad Pixel Replacement, as well as advanced video
enhancement features. Operated along with the new Vilga video tracker
module, Carthage DCL offers an extremely versatile, space efficient,
commercially available OEM product for compact EO suites.
