The PathFindIR system can be installed on most vehicles by a qualified mobile electronics dealer. Please contact FLIR for a local installation facility. Many new vehicles include in-dash monitors for navigation and/or back up monitors. Some existing monitors will support the standard NTSC video output of the PathFindIR. If not, there is a variety of monitors available on the market. The location of the monitor is important, and professional installation is recommended. The thermal image becomes a natural checkpoint, but it should not be used for primary navigation. The images below show a few examples of installations.
