| Tom Hoffman manages the FLIR Infrared Training Center in Santa Barbara, CA. He is responsible for development and delivery of training on infrared imaging systems and related theory, and for the development of technical publications for thermal imaging products. He has 12 years experience in technical training and certification. Tom's experience includes infrared imaging, security systems, computer networking, software development and computer-aided manufacturing. He is a Certified Infrared Thermographer Level I. Prior to joining FLIR he was a Risk Analyst and Compliance Training Manager for Pacific Capital Bancorp, and prior to that he managed the Ericsson Datacomm Training Center. Tom received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. |

Shawn Dirksen |
| Shawn Dirksen is an Applications Engineer at FLIR Systems, Indigo Operations since 2003. He has over ten years of applications experience with embedded products from audio to infrared camera systems. His primary areas of expertise are software programming and development of security systems along with infrared imaging applications. He is currently teaching courses in basic infrared and advanced systems integration. Shawn has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado. Before coming to FlIR Systems, he was a Member of Technical Staff at Texas Instruments for five years where he developed and supported real-time operating system (RTOS) software for embedded system applications. |

| Dr. Austin Richards is a Senior Research Scientist at FLIR Systems. He has 7 years of experience in the IR camera industry. His principal areas of research are in NIR and SWIR imaging systems, advanced IR imaging applications, and IR camera and sensor test and measurement. He holds a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics from UC Berkeley, and is the author of the SPIE monograph entitled Alien Vision: Exploring the Electromagnetic Spectrum with Imaging Technology,as well as numerous trade magazine articles and SPIE conference proceedings papers on advanced IR imaging technology. |
