Monday, January 4, 2016
At the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas today, FLIR announced the latest addition to the FLIR Scout Series – the FLIR Scout TK compact thermal vision monocular.
Developed for the outdoor enthusiast, the FLIR Scout TK is the smallest, lightest and most affordable camera in the FLIR Scout series.
Pocket-sized and designed for single-handed use, the FLIR Scout TK makes outdoor thermal imaging more accessible than ever, helping consumers become better aware of their surroundings with the ability to see heat signatures in total darkness.
Capable of seeing and recording the body heat of people or animals, as well as identify key landmarks—such as trees, rivers, and trails—at distances over 100 yards, the FLIR Scout TK is the perfect companion for an afternoon hike or weekend camping trip. With more than five hours of battery life and the ability to record up to 1000 still images and 4 hours of video, the rugged FLIR Scout TK offers a unique level of awareness, entertainment, and safety.
The FLIR Scout TK will launch worldwide in the first quarter of 2016 for $599 and pre-registration for product announcements is available at www.flir.com/scouttk.
