iOS 10 HomeKitEarlier today at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), FLIR announced that it will bring Apple HomeKit support to a FLIR consumer monitoring camera later this year. HomeKit allows iPhone users to securely control and connect home products, and make them work together all from their iPhone.

HomeKit-enabled products include lights, door locks, shades, plugs and switches, sensors, thermostats and cameras. Accessed through Apple’s new Home app in iOS 10, HomeKit offers an easy, secure and private way for people to monitor their home. Additionally, HomeKit users will be able to use Siri to offer voice command capabilities, giving customers another great way to interact with their home.

FLIR is excited to bring an Apple HomeKit-enabled camera to our customers. We’ll provide more details about this camera later this year.
