Pixel Velocity’s award-winning automated Leak Detection System (LDS) works in concert with FLIR Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) cameras to scan for escaping gas in remote locations or in critical areas that require continous monitoring.
Pixel Velocity LDS can automatically detect and discover the source of hydrocarbon leaks such as methane in a variety of industrial installations – without any human involvement. This intelligent system can be configured to the user’s specific leak threshold requirements, and boasts a near-zero false alarm rate.
The LDS system is designed to work with both of FLIR's fixed gas detection platforms, the G300a and A6604. These cameras have the same infrared core technology as FLIR’s GF320 handheld gas detection system, which has been designated as the Best System for Emissions Reduction (BSER) by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
