Check out this video taken with a FLIR Ultra 8500 Series thermal imager from Washington State Patrol of a chase with a Corvette.  Law Enforcement will love that the bad guy was caught before he caused more damage and Corvette enthusiasts will love the heat signature of the burnout.

Next time you're at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in McMinneville, Oregon, look for the FLIR kiosk!  It has a working FLIR thermal imager, so you can see your heat, and a video outlining the history of FLIR in the aviation industry.

The museum has a fantastic collection of artifacts and aircraft from aviation and space travel.  It is also home of the Spruce Goose, the largest flying boat in history.  It is a must see if you live in Oregon or are planning a visit.
