FLIR thermal imaging cameras include solar protections
by FLIR on December 09, 2009, Cores and Components · Infrared technology
Have you ever wondered what happens when you point any old infrared camera at the sun? Time to buy a new camera! FLIR, however, has eliminated this problem with solar protections designed into our sensors. What is infrared?
by FLIR on October 01, 2009, Infrared technology
What is infrared and how can it help you see at night? This video explains the history of infrared since it's discovery and how thermal imaging is used today.
FLIR is constantly developing new thermal imaging products to improve your life. We make commercial thermal imaging cameras for cars, boats, aircraft, security and law enforcement. By using thermal imaging technology our night vision cameras do not require any light at all for a clear picture. Not to mention that being on an equal playing field with the rattlesnake is a pretty big advantage.
