Android SDK 1.0.1 released

Dear Developers,

We’re very excited to announce the release of the software development kit (SDK) for the FLIR ONE for Android! Some of you have done some really cool and creative things with the iOS SDK and we can’t wait to see what you come up with in the Android space.

The SDK is now available for download free of charge at developer.flir.com, and all you have to do to get it is sign up for a free developer account and accept the online license agreement. You’ll also find SDK documentation, getting started guides, access to free technical support, and a developer’s forum on the site to help you get going as fast as possible. Don’t have a FLIR ONE for Android yet? Not to worry – there are ways to get the ball rolling while waiting for yours to arrive! First, we’ve embedded a simulator and sample app into the SDK and that’ll take you a long ways. Second, you can attend one of our hack-a-thons and use our loaner hardware – and have a great time hacking and competing for great prizes. Third, if you haven’t done so already, place an order for your own unit on the FLIR ONE website.

Happy developing!
