Can FLIR provide the SDK documentation, or a list of functions controlled by the SDK, so we can make a decision on whether to order it?

The FLIR Camera Control Graphical User Interface (GUI) provides an easy and convenient way to command and control a Tau2, Quark2, and other FLIR OEM cameras using a PC and USB cable. The GUI also has a 'message control' feature (in the Advanced tab) that allows customers to send serial commands to the camera within the GUI framework, to test each command function.

The Camera Control GUI is a free software download available here. NOTE: This is a .zip file and cannot be previewed from its Box location. There is only an option to download the file.

The Software Interface Description Document (SWIDD) 102-PS242-43 provides a list of commands that control the Tau2 and Quark2 cameras.

For customers that want to purchase the SDK, it is currently sold as an accessory item for $995. The SDK part number is 110-0142-16. Contact sba-contracts@flir.com to place an order.
