What is needed to create my own application to control and or acquire digital data using Quark2 or Tau2?

A software developer's kit (SDK) is available as an accessory for customers that want to create a custom interface to FLIR's Quark2 and Tau2 cameras. The SDK enables camera control using one of several programming languages, including VB6, VB.net, C#, and C++ (MFC). Code examples are included to help illustrate how some of the camera control functions can be used.

The SDK can be ordered online at FLIR's Camera Accessory Store .

This question and answer also applies to the legacy Photon camera models. The Photon product line and its accessories have been discontinued. The information here as it relates to legacy Photon is provided for historical reference.
