FLIR Camera Controller GUI for Tau and Quark
The FLIR Camera Controller Graphical User Interface (GUI) is a PC program that enables remote command and control of Tau or Quark functions and features through a USB or RS-232 serial interface to the camera. IMPORTANT: Make sure there is only one version of the GUI installed at a time on your computer. If you intend to upgrade from an older version of GUI to a newer version, be sure to completely uninstall the older version first by using the Add or Remove Programs function of the Control Panel in Windows.
If you are using the Video, Power, Communication (VPC) accessory with Tau or Quark, the first time you connect to the camera via USB you will need to know the COM port number. Installing the GUI will enable a Silicon Labs driver. The USB COM port number for Tau / Quark can be found by opening the Device Manager, then expand the Ports icon. In the example below, COM6 has been identified as the USB COM port. The actual COM port may be different on the PC being used.
