Miniature Laser Rangefinders
FLIR’s MLR-100 miniature laser rangefinder provides a solution for determining distances in fast moving objects or vehicles. It consumes only 3 mW in sleep mode and under 400 mW at 255 Hz ranging rate. The MLR-100 model has a long range capability better than 100 m with a resolution better than 20 cm and a short range capability to contact. Typical applications include unmanned aerial vehicles where height above ground or collision avoidance sensor systems are needed and weight and space are at a premium, altimetry for small UAVs, fast response proximity sensing, hand held laser ranger finders, robotics and industrial applications.
We also offer the custom design services and volume manufacturing to meet your specific application and program requirements. FLIR OEM is a merchant supplier and also offers a complete line of VCSEL based illuminators, laser pointers/designators and SWIR imaging products.
