TI BPL3 EDGE B and SIU INTERFACE

3rd Generation Broadband Over Power Line Edge Interface

Connecte les sorties de zone des capteurs BPL3 et/ou des capteurs de ligne d’alimentation (PL) à un contrôleur, fournissant l’alimentation et les communications aux capteurs BPL3 et/ou aux capteurs PL. L’interface Edge achemine les informations RYG vers la superposition du capteur et connecte le PC aux capteurs BPL3 et/ou aux capteurs PL pour la configuration et la visualisation du système. Compatible avec le ou les capteur(s) BPL3 suivants : TrafiSense AI, TrafiCam AI. Également compatible avec le capteur TrafiOne PL. Jusqu’à quatre capteurs BPL3/PL recommandés.

Function of Error Output:
Error output active = error in TI BPL3 EDGE B&SIU or power supply down, or
Error output active = error in 4 I/O USB with output(s) assigned (e.g. no communications), or
Error output active = error in corresponding BPL3/PL sensor (e.g. no communications)

12 V DC to 60 V DC, via EDGE connector (back, pins A/B, polarity sensitive), power button and LED (front, bicolor green/red)
Separate 24 V DC to 48 V DC via EDGE connector (back, pins D/E) for BPL3/PL sensors
Note: 48 V DC on pins D/E recommended when multiple BPL3/PL sensors and/or long cable distances

Power OUT:
Idem power IN, via EDGE connector (back, pins P/R, polarity insensitive)
Note: BPL3 communications to BPL3/PL sensors added at interface level

Power Consumption:
Interface only: typical ≤5 W (6 W peak at start-up)
Maximum, interface with periphery: <100 W @ 24 V DC
