O HDV-TX1 é um monofone com fio com sonda articulada (1 m), sonda semirrígida (1 m) com câmera de 6 mm de diâmetro e uma lente macro. O Extech HDV-TX1 é feito para uso com o HDV600 VideoScope da Extech, que se conecta por meio de um cabo de conexão (HDV-PC). Este dispositivo consiste em uma sonda semirrígida com câmera de 6 mm de diâmetro e lente macro conectada a uma unidade portátil. Esta unidade inclui um botão de articulação para fácil ajuste da câmera.
