Flir A6481

Long-Life Cooled MWIR Camera

The Flir A6481 is a high-performance MWIR automation camera designed for advanced process control, quality assurance, and non-destructive testing. Part of the A6400-Series, it delivers high thermal sensitivity and fast frame rates for accurate temperature measurement on moving products. Built on proven A6700-Series electronics, the Flir A6451 supports GigE Vision and GenICam for easy system integration. Its industry-leading long-life linear cooler reduces maintenance demands, making it ideal for continuous 24/7 automation in demanding industrial environments.

Industry-leading 27,000 hour cooler life, revolutionary HOT MWIR detector, and 125 Hz frame rate for capturing fast events and delivering high-sensitivity in non-destructive testing
The Flir A6481 is focused built for customer driven interfaces, commands, and triggers such as industry standard GigE Vision and GenIcam
The Flir A6481 is compatible with Flir Precision Optics Motorized or Manual Focus lenses, allowing for remote focusing through Flir Research Studio or the Science Camera SDK. This simplifies the camera setup process and allows for efficient refocusing for the best possible imagery. The Flir A6481 also has a 3-position motorized filter wheel. With factory installed filters, the potential uses of the camera are multiplied. Neutral Density Filters allow for higher temperature calibrations up to 3000°C. Spectral filters also allow for unique applications such as through flame or through glass applications. along with many more. Filters can be installed in the wheel at the factor or screwed in behind the lens by the user.
