Why is there a charging animation on the screen of the camera, despite the fact that the battery was charged for a whole night in the in-truck charger?

When you put the camera in the in-truck charger cradle, the in-truck charger begins charging the battery through the external connectors that are located on the bottom side of the lens housing. This type of charging does not charge the battery fully, but applies a charging current that is optimized for the maximum number of charging cycles.

To fully charge the battery, insert the battery into the battery slot at the lower end of the in-truck charger.
