First try holding the power-button down for more than 7s. If that does not help, then press the reset button located inside the battery compartment. It is not necessary to pull the battery to restart the camera.

Follow this procedure:

1. Open the battery compartment cover.

2. Locate the reset button, see the figure below.

3. Use a non-conductive tool to push and hold down the reset button for a few seconds. The camera will now be reset.
