The driver successfully loaded but I still cannot access the camera memory. What is wrong?

FLIR cameras install as a network device and use TCP/IP to communicate with the PC. Windows XP Service Pack 2 comes with a firewall that is set to on by default, and this can sometimes interfere with camera communication. Follow the procedure below to solve this.

Click "Start --> Control Panel" and double-click on "Windows Firewall".

Go to the "Exceptions" tab and make sure that "T3Mon" and "T3Srv" is listed with a check mark next to it. If not click "Add" to add it to the list of exceptions (browsing to C:\Program Files\FLIR Systems\Device drivers). Once T3Mon and T3Srv is added to this list it should allow communication with the camera.

If you are using another Firewall, please follow similar steps. Some firewalls provides adding exceptions as an immediate option when communication between PC and Camera is initiated the first time.
