Product Variations
FLIR TrafiCam 3 is an affordable, all-round detection sensor for traffic monitoring and dynamic traffic signal control. This rugged, compact uses visual imaging and Wi-Fi technology to adapt traffic signals based on the presence detection of traffic objects vehicles while also generating basic count data at intersections and in urban environments. Key to helping traffic engineers improve vehicle flows, monitor congestion, and enhance safety, TrafiCam 3 ensures cities can collect accurate road data as well as measure travel and delay times for different transport modes.
Monitors MAC addresses of Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as smartphones to determine rates of travel along road segments.
Generates basic count data at intersections and in urban environments, in any environmental conditions.
Mounts quickly and integrates with existing platforms through BPL technology or PoE connection.
