Die FLIR X6980 SLS ist eine außergewöhnlich schnelle Langwellen-IR-Kamera, die für Wissenschaftler und Ingenieure entwickelt wurde, die für genaue thermische Analysen und individuelle radiometrische Messungen Hochgeschwindigkeitsbilder aufnehmen müssen. Diese Wärmebildkamera kombiniert die Auflösung des SLS-Detektors von 640 × 512 mit schnellsten Hochgeschwindigkeits-Bildraten, und ermöglicht so kürzere Momentaufnahmen und breitere Temperaturbänder, wie sie für die Aufnahme scharfer Bilder von sehr schnellen Ereignissen in Stop-Motion erforderlich sind. Mit einem motorgetriebenen Filterrad mit vier Positionen und Unterstützung für motorgetriebene Fokusobjektive von FLIR ermöglicht die X6980 SLS bessere Aufnahmen, spart Zeit und verringert die Frustration in dynamischen Aufnahmeumgebungen.
