What are the key features of ThermaCAM™ P50F and P25F?

ThermaCAM™ P50F/P25F is a specially developed high temperature camera for applications where it is necessary to "see through" flames in furnaces. Spectral range is very narrow around the transmission window of a flame. The camera comes with a heat shield for protection against excessive heat.

P50F key features
• Image resolution 320x240
• Sensitivity 0.6 °C at 400 °C

• 10 movable measurement spots

• 10 resizable areas (5 boxes and 5 circles)

• Detachable remote control with integrated 3.8” LCD
• Standard Temperature range +300 °C to +1500 °C
• Composite video out
• Real time radiometric storage to built-in RAM
• Periodic storage
• Voice and text annotation
• Bluetooth technology
• Firewire non-radiometric DV
• Programmable buttons
• User profiles

P25F key features
• Image resolution 320x240
• Sensitivity 0.6 °C at 400 °C
• 1 fixed measurement spot
• Detachable remote control with integrated 3.8” LCD (Optional)
• Standard Temperature range +300 °C to +1500 °C
• Composite video out

P50F and P25F

The spectral response for the camera is a peaked at 3.9 µm and the width is 110nm (CW: 3.9 µm HW: 110 nm). When the heat shield is used another filter (protective window) is added in front of the camera, peeked at 3.9 µm and the width is 400 nm (CW: 3.9 µm HW: 400 nm)

The camera has four measurement ranges, calibrated with and without heat shield

Ranges calibrated without heat shield

300 °C – 500 °C

350 °C – 700 °C

500 °C – 1000 °C

700 °C – 1500 °C

Ranges calibrated with heat shield

300 °C – 500 °C FLT

350 °C – 700 °C FLT

500 °C – 1000 °C FLT

700 °C – 1500 °C FLT

When the heat shield is mounted, make sure to use the FLT ranges.
