I cannot see the import button in FLIR Tools on my Android device when I am connected via USB. How do I fix this?

The SD card in the FLIR camera could be in FAT16 (FAT) format. FLIR Tools supports only the FAT32 format.

To change the format:

  1. Insert the SD card or connect the camera with the SD card to a computer.
  2. Back up any files needed from the SD card to your computer.
  3. Right-click on the USB drive icon on the computer for the SD card.
  4. Click on format and select FAT32 as the file system. Choose Quick format and click on the format button. Note: This will delete all the files and folders on the SD card.
  5. When formatting has completed, eject the SD card or remove the connected cable from the computer.
  6. Insert the SD card into the camera and save an image.

It should now be possible to see the import button in FLIR Tools on Android. If you still do not see it, contact FLIR Customer support.
