If (when) Word crashes it often disables all add-ins that have been loaded before the crash, including Reporter 7 or Reporter 8. To enable the disabled add-ins do the following:

Microsoft Word 2007
1. Start Word and click on the Office Button. (It's the button in the top left corner)
2. Click on the Word Options button.
3. In the list to the left, select Add-Ins.
4. In the Manage: menu, select Disabled Items and press Go...
5. Now a dialog with disabled items will be shown. Select WordAddin_O2K7.dll and press Enable.
6. Restart Word.

Microsoft Word 2000/XP/2003
1. Start Word and select About Microsoft Office Word in the Help menu.
2. Select Disabled Items...
3. Now a dialog with disabled items will be shown. Select WordAddin.dll and press Enable.
4. Restart Word.
