Extech PT400は、家庭やオフィスでの電化製品の日常的な使用のために、柔軟な省エネソリューションを提供します。3つの選択可能な電源設定 (手動オン、手動オフ、自動)、10のカスタマイズ可能なオンとオフのプログラム、および個々の日、週などの16のプログラムの組み合わせを備えています。時刻 (12/24時間形式)、曜日、現在選択されているプログラムが同時に表示されます。また、夏時間モード、プログラム機能の無作為化、カウントダウンタイマーも備えています。設計には、標準的な北米の3極電気プラグ、使いやすいサイドソケット接続、停電時にカスタマイズされたプログラムを保存する充電式バックアップバッテリーが含まれています。
