The ThermaCAM P50F has an optical system which is optimized for "through flame" applications like petrochemical furnaces.
All lenses and windows inside the camera are peaked to 3,9 microns and have a quite narrow band width. The detector is also peaked at 3,9 microns and the camera has a built-in spectral narrow band filter at 3,9 microns. All this makes it impossible to obtain a broader middle band camera with the ThermaCAM P50F.
