FLIR’s TrafiRadar vehicle presence sensor is a combination of a video sensor and radar that improves traffic safety and efficiency at signalized intersections for stop bar and advance detection, traffic adaptive systems, and dilemma-zone protection. TrafiRadar will warn traffic light controllers whenever a vehicle is present in the dilemma zone, either extending green or red lights to improve overall safety.

Combine video and radar for accurate traffic detection

  • Real-time visualization of radar

The TrafiRadar interface displays live video footage with an overlay of radar data for better overall visualization.

  • Smart Traffic Control

TrafiRadar provides conditional presence detection, depending on vehicle speed and class, up to a distance of 200 meters (600 ft.).

  • Compact and cost-effective

Easy to install, calibrate, and configure, TrafiRadar is a convenient above-ground solution.
