How does the Insulation alarm in QuickReport work? There are settings for Indoor and Outdoor temperatures, for Insulation factor. How to correctly set these, and what happens?

Insulation alarm is described in detail in the manuals of the B camera models. For building inspections, a B camera is assumed. Please see attached excerpt.
Summary: "Insulation level" can be considered a "comfort factor". You enter a desired value, outdoor and indoor temperature. (Tout < Tin). In the camera, a formula is used  to find the surface temperature on the inside of a wall that corresponds to the insulation factor, and an "isotherm below" is set at this temperature. Areas where the surface temperature is lower than desired are highlighted. The formula:
Tsi = f(Ti - Te) + Te
f = the insulation factor. Common values in litterature are 0.6 - 0.8.
Tsi = internal surface temperature
Ti = internal air temperature
Te = external air temperature
