I want to send in my infrared camera for service. Where do I send it?

Depending on where you are located you may have the possibility to use our eRMA service (see below). You can also contact a FLIR Service Center (see the Service tab above).

In this section we talk about RMA and eRMA. The acronym RMA is interpreted as Return Material Authorization. It is a routine that uses a specific number to identify a certain service occasion. The RMA number can be requested by this web site, and is then called eRMA, Electronic RMA. When you request an eRMA, you submit relevant information for this service occasion. We return to you with a RMA number. This RMA number must be visible on the outside of the shipment (on the address slip) when you send the camera to us, because this number is necessary for customs clearance and correct handling.

Using the eRMA service
Using the eRMA service before you send in your FLIR product for service will speed up the process. You will be able to follow the progress of your eRMA, and the service history for your product will be saved so that you can view it later.

To use the eRMA service you must register your product. Click the Product Registration tab to register your FLIR product.

When you have registered your product you can see it under My Stuff > Products.
If you can see the Get eRMA link in the eRMA column you can use eRMA.

Click Get eRMA to open the eRMA form.

Your contact data will be filled in automatically. You can also change it and save the changes with your eRMA.

The serial number will also be filled in automatically. The only thing that you have to add is Type of return, a description on what you want us to do with your product, a reference, and the warranty status of the product. If you don't have a reference, just enter your name.

Click Next when you have filled out the form.

It will take 1–2 days for us to manage your eRMA request. When we are ready you will see the eRMA number in the eRMAcolumn. During that time you can edit your request by clicking Edit eRMA.

In the Status column you can see what status your eRMA has. By clicking the eRMA number you can get more information about the eRMA.
