With a gigabit Ethernet interface on the laptop it does not matter which NIC driver you use since the bandwidth required for the camera is less than 10% of available bandwidth. With a 100 Mbit interface, use the EBUS Universal or Optimal driver.
If the camera is connected to the same network that is used for Internet and normal office traffic, the performance might be affected.
The EBUS driver itself does not affect the networking performance. It is merely a filter driver which taps off the GigEVision protocol traffic at a lower level thus bypassing the Windows network stack.
