I cannot get ResearchIR to connect to my camera using the Active Silicon CXP frame grabber.

In order to make it work, you have to make sure the following sofware and drivers versions are installed.

  • ResearchIR 4.40.4.17 or later, downloadable from CustHelp;
  • Active Silicon runtime version 1.3.1 (ONLY)
  • AS driver 1.7.0.0 (ONLY), included in the CXP Firebird installer package 1.3.1 below; - see download page
    • 32bit version
    • 64bit version 

 

IMPORTANT:

With camera set in single link mode, do not wire both coax connectors and connect only link 0 (on the camera).
