I have installed ResearchIR/QuickPlot on my computer but when I try to run the application I get an error, what is wrong?

If the installer fails to install the license files the application will not start and you will get an error message like this:

 


"License could not be validated" Error message if license files was not found

The solution to this problem is to manually copy the license files from the CD to the correct location.

For Windows XP

Copy to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\FLIR Systems\FLIR R&D software\Licensing (If Windows is installed on C:)

For Windows Vista

Copy to C:\Program Data\ FLIR Systems\FLIR R&D software\Licensing (If Windows is installed on C:).
The directory ProgramData is hidden by default. To see it enable show hidden folders option.
