What does it mean when FLIR Tools shows a long file or folder path error?

One of the log files may list an error for the length of the file path or for folder path restrictions.

This occurs because Microsoft Windows has a bug where, although it does not allow an absolute file path to be more than 260 characters and the absolute path of a folder path to be 248 characters, if we have a file path or folder path and edit the intermediate directories (i.e., any sub-directories) and extend the path with more characters, it is allowed, but the Microsoft .NET Framework—which is used in FLIR Tools—does not permit this.

To find out which files and folder paths needs to be shortened, the attached file needs to be run, which will list them.

Note: Rename the file to use the extension .exe.
