What is macro mode and how do I enable it on my FLIR T500 series camera?

The macro mode works for a camera with 24 degree lens which has been ordered as a camera with macro mode.

Macro mode is used to get good images for objects close to the camera lens.
In macro mode, only thermal image is showed and saved. That means that Thermal MSX, Picture-In-Picture and digital camera mode cannot be used.

Macro mode is selected in the image mode menu.
When selecting macro mode the camera will set focus to close distance. Focus can be adjusted manually.

The macro feature must be purchased at the time of the camera purchase or requires the unit to be returned to a FLIR service provider.
