What type of battery is used in the FLIR K series?

The battery is a rechargeable Li-Ion battery (3.6 V, 4.4 Ah) and the camera will run > 4 hours with a fully charged battery when the battery is new.

The battery will fully charge in 4 hours.

The life expectancy is > 300 charging cycles (> 70% of minimum capacity).

Approximate lithium content is 1.32 g

The in-truck charger is an accessory that can be used to charge the camera and/or a spare battery. The charger is a smart charger and will not overcharge the batteries.

The charging status is indicatde by the LED indicator.

  • Indicator LED blinking: Battery is charging.
  • Indicator LED constant light: Battery is fully charged.
  • Indicator LED off: No device attached.
