I'm trying to register my FLIR product but I recieve an error that the serial number is not found. What is the reason?
The serial number can be located in several different places depending on the product model.
Note: This site is only for registering Thermography cameras and meters. For security products (commercial and residential), FLIR One, and other imaging systems, please find the appropriate support division for your product.
Serial Number Location:
Meters and IGM Devices:
The serial number is normally located on the back or side of the meter, near the bar code. Be sure to include all characters when registering. To register Extech meters please visit http://www.extech.com
TG1xx: Located on left side under the FLIR Logo.
TG130: Located inside the battery compartment under the battery.
MR1xx: Located on the side of the device.
TG5x: Located on the head of the unit.
MRxx: Located on the side or back.
Cx-Series: Located under the flap on the side, near the USB port.
Ex-Series: Located under the battery on the bottom of the camera.
Exx-Series: Located inside the battery compartment under the battery.
Txxx/Bxxx-Series: Located on the inside of the door that covers the ports and SD card.
T6xx-Series: Located inside the battery compartment under the battery.
GF-Series: Located under the battery (the battery has to be removed).
i3/i5/i7: Located inside the battery compartment under the battery.
ixx/bxx-Series, InfraCAM, BCAM: Located on the left side of camera under the rubber cover.
B/P/SC600-Series: Located under the battery (the battery has to be removed).
PC software: Located below the barcode on the software packaging (SW S/N).
Axxx-Series: Located on the bottom of the camera.
AX8: Located on the side of the camera near the bar code.
Ax5: Located on the bottom of the camera near the bar code.
Kx/Kxx-Series: Located near the USB connector, under the rubber flap near the front of the camera.
If you get an Access Denied message when you try to login or register, or the page does not fully load, then please check your Internet Security settings (ActiveX filtering must be disabled). Temporarily disable the network firewall to see if this helps. You can also try using a different browser such as Firefox (http://www.firefox.com) or Chrome (https://www.google.com/chrome).

We can either register your serial number manually, or guide you to the correct registration page. Please include the product model name and serial number when submitting the question.
